Lemons ...

The Cirrus version of "When life deals you a lemon, make lemonade," seems to be "If the fluky puffs go aft, its time to break out the 1/2 oz." So now we are cooking along at 3.5 knots (1.8 knots of apparent wind) and chasing down debris piles to see if we can find another glass ball.

In the meantime, we saw a ship, the container vessel Hanjin Parma (sp?) out of Korea. He steamed (dieseled?) within 1.5 miles of us. Lindsey talked to him on the radio and mentioned we were low on diesel. He seemed sympathetic. He said "That's too bad. Have a nice day."

Current position at 1200 noon HST: 33N23 126W58 420 Nm to go.

Interesting how everything becomes relative. I love that you are "cooking along" and "chasing down" at 3.5 kn --- You go guys! It is still blowing like stink here - trying hard to send it north and east!
